MapServer

MapServer is an Open Source development environment for building spatially-enabled internet applications. MapServer is not a full-featured GIS system, nor does it aspire to be. Instead, MapServer excels at rendering spatial data (maps, images, and vector data) for the web.

True dat, Kay. It is ridiculously expensive and inconvenient to travel Home from the U.S. Quite baffling that to date Dominica has been able to attain a Jet airport. Its quite embarrassing!

Today, when I re-read this article from 9 years ago, I see that the author has quite accurate analysis about the development of new technology that changes life.
